- The root cause for the difficulty using one arm could be deficits in Range of Motion, strength, sensations or coordination making it difficult to use both arms for activities like riding a bike, opening a jar, throwing a big ball, eating with fork and knife, crawling, drinking from a open cup, carrying own lunch or dinner plate.
- Children with following conditions can benefit from CIMT including but not limited:
- Cerebral Palsy
- Brachial Plexus Injury
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Hemiparesis
- Childhood stroke
- Other childhood neurological conditions

Testimonial
Maitri started working with my baby girl when she was just a couple weeks old. She helped me understand the diagnosis, and how it was causing deficits and affecting development of my little one. She also assured us that with hard work and dedication our sweet little girl would be fine. Maitri quickly became more than just our little one's PT. She became a friend, someone we can rely on.
My daughter has done a week of intensive therapy and we are very excited and satisfied with the results. Maitri is a very professional person. we will definitely return soon.
I am SO glad I found Good Job Pediatric PT! My son was a little behind in meeting his milestones, so i searched for a PT and am so grateful i found this place. Maitri worked with my son and I one on one and helped him achieve his milestones which she made so fun for him. I am forever grateful for her hard work and dedication to helping my son exceed. I can see that she truly loves what she does, and my son was so excited to see her each time. If you are searching for a ped PT, I highly recommend Maitri!
